Study Smarter is a 6-week group coaching and skills-development course that empowers learners with the essential tools, strategies, and mindset shifts needed for academic success. Blending modern study techniques, goal-setting frameworks, and personalised guidance through ShadowMatch Study Coaching, this course helps learners become confident, efficient, and independent learners.

While many traditional workshops focus on teaching generic study methods, we take a completely different approach. At the heart of this program is the belief that every learner is unique - with their own habits, strengths, challenges, and learning styles.
The Study Smarter Program isn’t a one-size-fits-all study skills workshop - it’s a personalised coaching journey.
Through personalized habit profiling, each learner begins by understanding how they naturally operate - from attention span to planning styles, focus triggers to stress responses. This insight allows us to tailor study strategies that are not just effective in theory, but aligned to how each individual actually learns best.
From there, learners are coached weekly, not just taught. They’re guided in:
Identifying what works for them and what doesn’t
Eliminating ineffective methods and distractions
Experimenting with personalised tools to strengthen memory, focus, and planning
Building and refining a study routine that suits their lifestyle and rhythms
But this program goes even deeper.
We support learners in building self-awareness, self-efficacy, and independence - key skills that empower them to take ownership of their learning long after the program ends. It’s not about quick fixes or top-down instruction. It’s a collaborative coaching process where learners grow in confidence, resilience, and ability - both academically and personally.
This is study skills coaching, not just study skills teaching.
Due to the personal nature of each learner’s individual needs and unique habits, each coaching journey and session is tailored to meet a learner where they are at mentally, emotionally, and academically. Accordingly this course overview is not intended as a ridged plan, but rather it is as a flexible framework to guide the coaching process through the “Study Smarter” course.
Target Learners: Grade 8–12 learners
Limited Availability: 16 Learners
Program Length: 6 weeks
Sessions Duration: 2 x 45 min sessions per week
(12 sessions, totalling 9 hrs)

Our full Books4Me Library catalogue is hosted on Librarika – an easy-to-use online platform where you can browse our collection, check availability, and manage your borrowing.

Choose the titles that resonate most with where you are right now in your journey.
When you've found the books you'd like to read, simply reserve them through your Librarika account.
Here's how to reserve it:
Log in to your Librarika account.
Search or browse for the book you'd like to borrow.
On the book’s page, click “Reserve” if the title is available.
You’ll receive a confirmation once your reservation is processed.
Please Note:
▪️You may reserve up to 3 books at a time for a 3-week period.
▪️If the book is currently on loan, you can still place a reservation, and you’ll be notified when it becomes available.
Once your books are reserved, please send a WhatsApp message to 081 641 7007 to arrange a suitable collection time.
Books can be collected from the Holistic Embodiment practice:
⏰Weekdays: 16:00-18:00
⏰Weekends: 08:00-16:00
Take your time and enjoy your books.
If needed, you can request one renewal. (unless the book is on hold for someone else).
Here’s how to request a renewal:
Log into your Librarika account.
Go to My Borrowed Books.
Click the “Renew” button next to the title.
You’ll receive a notification once the renewal is approved.
Please return your books on or before the due date either:
▪️ Arrange an in person drop off via WhatsApp at the Holistic Embodiment practice
or
▪️Via the designated Books4Me Return Box at the entrance.

Books should be returned in the condition they were borrowed – clean and lovingly cared for.
(Please note the current condition of the books are noted before checkout to ensure fair practice).
